    Hello, i am looking at going to school for a career in forestry, but have a few questions. Before i list them however, i feel like i should let you guys know i do understand the pay is low (k range), and i live in the United States. As well, all the questions below are being asked for both public, and private sector forestry, as they are. Forester careers involve all aspects of the forest lifecycle including harvesting, restoration, protection of fragile areas, and recreation. Duties vary significantly from job to job, but the following list includes typical job duties one might encounter as a forester: Facilitate reforestation plans from inception to completion and management.
